WELCOME

Welcome to the home page of the Grantham Youth Theatre Society (GYTS). We are a local amateur dramatics society, staging at least one show a year and making sure we all have fun in between!

BREAKING NEWS!!

The latest GYTS production - Crazy For You was a great success and enjoyed by all!  Well done to all who were involved with the show! Keep watching the website for information on our next production - Me and My Girl!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WHOLE SOCIETY...

For all your hard work and the wonderful reviews/ comments we've received following our production of Crazy For You.

ALSO a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to see the show, you were absolutely fantastic audiences and your support is genuinely appreciated by everyone in GYTS!  We have now decided our show for 2012....the amazing Me and My Girl.  Check out the 'Next Production' and 'Tickets and Information' pages for more information including show dates / venue etc!  For those of you missing us (and each other) inbetween productions, then make sure you check out the 'Upcoming events' page for opportunities to see us all again!

GET INVOLVED

We are always looking for new members aged between 16 and 30 to come and join us, either as performers or to help with the technical or backstage stuff. If you are interested, please contact us using the links to the left and get in touch!  We are very friendly and would love to hear from you!

If you'd like to become a Patron of the society, we're very eager to hear from you. Please visit the 'Patrons' page on our website.

LAST PRODUCTION

We have a new last production! Crazy For You was performed in August 2011 - check out the amazing reviews it received on our 'press' page.

GYTS were also awarded the 'Best Youth Production' Award 2008 by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association for their debut show Hot Mikado and were nominated for 'Best Musical' in 2011 for A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum so we're not doing half bad by all accounts!

We are listed on the What's On Britain Page
